Rubber bearing that has a lead plug embedded at the centre of laminated natural rubber; where the”laminated natural rubber” demonstrates spring capability, while the “lead plug” demonstrates damping capability.
Generally, separate damper is not required; good for space-constraint installation. It shows hysteresis of elasto-plastic characteristics, and it is possible to fine adjust the attenuation setting by varying the lead plug diameter.
Only one kind of rubber material is used.(referred as G0.40).
TYPES OF ISOLATION BEARING ACCORDING TO THE DEGREE OF DAMPING POINTS
1.Lead rubber bearings
LRB rubber bearing, applied to building and bridge constructions, is a practical and cost-effective choice for seismic isolation. It is composed of laminated elastomeric bearing pad, with lead in the center of bearing. This series of bearing is suitable for 8 degrees and the earthquake intensity area of highway and municipal bridge.
2.High damping rubber bearings
Its structure is the same as ordinary laminated rubber bearings, high damping rubber bearing is improved through rubber formula, so that the rubber material damping is increased, so that the bearing’s damping ratio can reach 15-18%. This series of bearing is suitable for 9 degrees earthquake intensity area of highway and municipal bridge.
APPLICATIONS OF LEAD CORE RUBBER BEARING
The product has been successfully used in a broad range of applications which include: bridges, viaducts, high rise buildings, stadiums and dams.
As your request, the lead rubber bearing can be manufactured in rectangular or round shapes. Custom sizes and designs are also welcomed.
Our production capacity is not limited to this, please send your requirements to us.
